Breaking The Sound Barrier Daily

Julius C Why Not :-) ? Tour 2009 :: 9/9 Albany; 9/10 Boston; 9/11 New York; 9/15 Washington DC; 9/17 Philadelphia

Yes, SEPTEMBER is almost here. And if you’re a student of any kind, then I apologize for using a dirty word. But we have 5 big shows coming up next month that will take the drag out of going back to school. And if you’re not a student, then simply get ready for International Square Dancing Month, National Courtesy Month, Baby Safety Month (really), and some more good tunes from yours truly.

If you know us as the band that rocked the crap out at your summer camp (more about this in another post), then I want to direct your attention to our 9/10 and 9/11 shows in Boston and New York. These are ‘all ages’ shows, so nobody’s going to turn you away for being too young. We want you to call, txt, bbm, tweet, facebook, myspace, and email all the camp friends you haven’t seen since final bunk inspection and tell them to meet you at the show. All the info you need is conveniently provided on our shows page.

We also have big shows coming up in Albany, Washington DC, and Philadelphia. And before every show we play in the month of September, we’ll be playing a string of acoustic street corner performances earlier in the day. Visit our twitter page @juliusc to find out where we’re playing.

Oh, one more thing before I start planning the changes I’ll be making during Better Breakfast Month! A portion of all the proceeds from these shows will be donated to the charity We Try Harder. We Try Harder is a small, local charity that organizes outings for physically disabled children and their friends. As if you needed another reason to come out and support your favorite rock-soul-dance-psychedelic-indie band. Pshhh…
